About Our Chapter
The Panhandle Chapter is a full-service trade organization for the commercial construction industry. It is one of the oldest chapters in Texas and is comprised of contractors, subcontractor, suppliers and service providers in the Northern-most 32 counties of the Texas Panhandle. Since 2016 the Panhandle Chapter has partnered with the U. S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration in an Alliance Agreement.
Safety Services Program
Panhandle chapter members can subscribe to our Safety Services Program for a monthly fee. The program includes jobsite inspections, attendance at OSHA inspections or conferences, toolbox and safety resources, accident investigations, safety training and assistance with OSHA reports. News and Bid Information
Members receive a weekly newsletter with information about projects available for bidding (with links to the bid documents), safety talks in English and Spanish, construction news and updates on legislative and regulatory issues. The chapter also facilitates its Four-Hour Bid Plan, which has been used on projects in the Texas Panhandle for more than 60 years.
Affiliations
AGC of America, which advocates for members in Congress and with federal agencies, provides training and member discounts and hosts an annual convention.
AGC Texas Building Branch, which advocates for building branch members in the Texas Legislature and with state agencies and hosts an annual convention.
